LORI MERS

Lori grew up in Southern Idaho and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Boise State University. She worked for 10+ years at Hewlett-Packard Company in various marketing roles both in Boise, ID and in Vancouver, WA.  Since that time, she has enjoyed being a wife and mother.  Over the past 20 years, she has been involved in various roles and capacities with the following nonprofit organizations: Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation, Make-A-Wish Idaho, Camp Rainbow Gold, YMCA’s Annual Strong Kids Campaign, Women’s & Children’s Alliance, The Cancer Connection Idaho, Fellowship for Christian Athletes, Bronco Athletic Association, Expansion International and most recently Game Changers Idaho. 

 

While attending college at Boise State University, Lori met her husband of 27 years, Mike Mers.  They have two children – Bryce (23) and Stacia (19).  Various job opportunities for Mike and Lori took them to several places outside of Idaho, but they moved back to Boise in 2002 to settle and raise their family along with Mike starting his own financial advisory firm, Aspen Capital Management. Lori enjoys reading, working with non-profit organizations, mentoring other women, healthy living through food and exercise, music, traveling and most of all supporting and spending time with her family.
